Cold insulation fails from the outside in. Warm air reaches a cold surface, condenses inside the insulation, and the system loses its performance and starts corroding under the lagging. Our cold specifications are built around a continuous vapour barrier: closed-cell material, sealed joints, correct adhesive, and a finish that will not be punctured by foot traffic or maintenance.
We work in nitrile rubber and XLPE for chilled water, brine and refrigeration lines, PUF and PIR for low-temperature and cryogenic duty, and XPS or EPS in panel and cold-room construction. Supports are insulated too, because a bare pipe shoe is the fastest route to a wet system.
